Asheville, NC-based band The Silver Doors captivate with an eclectic rock appeal on their self-titled album. From concise punk outputs to anthemic rockers and lush folk segments, the album shines in its dynamic production. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Alex Farrar at Drop of Sun Studios, The Silver Doors consistently compels.

“Redeemer” opens the album with a climactic allure, as a folk-forward mystique develops quickly into a debonair rock expanse with string-laden flair. Thunderous pulses of guitar accelerate into the questioning vocals — “have you seen her? she’s my redeemer,” — as the ardent composure continues throughout. The subsequent “Losing Hand” delivers a more eerie appeal to start; lonesome strings and moody bass venture thereafter into a rollicking rock charisma. The opening one-two punch to The Silver Doors impress with their evolving, fervent qualities.

Moving through the album, strong songwriting and a compelling rock-friendly passion take hold. The shout-y vocals and slabs of guitar on “Bulletteeth” showcase an addictive vigor, while “Gone” is a gorgeously soaring success with its range from dreamy folk to anthemic rock. The Silver Doors make a strong mark throughout this memorable album.
